Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Program

NEPP is made up of volunteers from your community. The sole purpose is to provide information and guidance to individuals, families, businesses and neighbours in preparing for a disaster.

A disaster is an event that overwhelms all existing local emergency resources. In the event of a disaster you will be on your own for a minimum of three days. What if you are separated from your family, who will look out for them? What if they are injured? What if someone in your area needs assistance, would you know what to do?

When you participate in a presentation you can gain peace of mind for yourself and your family. It only takes a couple of neighbourhood get-togethers before you have the necessary information and skills, then you and your neighbours will be prepared to assist each other in an emergency.
